If you are returning a dress/items following a "Try-On" or a hire period, please place the items in the original packaging and secure with tape. Attach the postage label that was enclosed in the box and drop the parcel off at your nearest Post Office.
If the items have been damaged in transit please call customer services on 0845 643 1075.
All of our items are sent by courier service and covered by insurance, this will ensure that you are compensated should your goods be lost or damaged in transit.
Please call customer service for a postage quote. Please allow longer delivery and payment refund times for returns being processed from an overseas order.
Wedding Dress World will make refunds credited via your original method of payment and will be credited within 7 days of us receiving the item back, and the hired items have been passed through our returns department.
We understand that the dress will show signs of use, and you will not be charged for a variety of common marks/stains that we know we can remove via the dry cleaning process, this includes but is not limited to: mud, sand, food, make-up, fake tan, etc..
However, there are certain stains that are almost impossible to remove, this includes red wine, oil, pen, glue etc, so please be careful during your "Try-On" or hire period, as you are ultimately responsible for the safety of your dress.
If the dress requires minor repairs then a charge will be deducted from your security deposit to cover the costs.
Please do not attempt to repair or clean the dress yourself.
In the unlikely event that you severely damage the dress, do not attempt any repairs, and return it to us as soon as possible. We will notify you of the repair charge which will be deducted from your security deposit.
Delivery Terms and Charges
The Customer, will be under obligation to accept the goods when they arrive at the shipping address and use the returns procedure detailed to return an item/s.
Wedding Dress World cannot be held responsible for goods which arrive too late for a scheduled dress fittting, event or wedding day. We recommend that all customers allow adequate time for their order to be delivered. If an item of mail is undeliverable as a result of an inaccurate address or postcode being provided, this will be returned to Wedding Dress World and we will charge a postage fee to re-send the item. If at this point the customer decides to not continue with the order, we will refund the security deposit and deduct the postage costs. If a customer has ordered an incorrect item due to selecting the wrong size, colour or quantity on our website, Wedding Dress World will not accept responsibility for this error. This applies if the colour, size or quantity of item despatched to the customer are correct and as detailed on the order confirmation. We will not accept responsibility or refund any return delivery costs in this instance.Wedding Dress World cannot be held liable for any delivery delays resulting from courier company industrial action, i.e. a strike.
However, we will send the items with a diferent courier firm if we are aware of a Mail strike is pending to ensure your items(s) are delivered on time.
